This is a very small but precious bowl made from the very last silk threads from silk scraps that come from saris. We work with a sister community in Jaipur that recycled saris into bags to sell at their markets. We support them financially and they send us their wee scraps once a year. Sewing with silk scraps is tricky so we are left with waste threads. We make them into these tiny bowls. This bowl is in greens and browns and stitched with copper thread. It only measures approximately 2 inches diameter but is robust and perfectly formed. It will arrive carefully wrapped in a box.
